Mission Statement

The mission of the Islamic School of Greater New Orleans (ISGNO) is to prepare a diverse student population for higher education by equipping each child with the skill set, experience, and knowledge base to become a self-motivated, competent, lifelong learner. ISGNO offers a culturally-relevant, inquiry-based, hands-on learning environment that establishes a sound Islamic foundation based in Qur'an and Sunnah so that students will grow and advance academically and spiritually. ISGNO' s goal is to produce ethically, morally, and intellectually vibrant graduates capable of succeeding professionally.
